Visočica 

Visočica is a prominent peak above the steep slope of Velebit, in Lika. Thanks to its position, it is one of the most beautiful viewpoints on the whole of Velebit, the peak of Visočica is undoubtedly the most beautiful viewpoint in Lika. Particularly beautiful is the view of the innumerable peaks of the southern Velebit.

The area of Visočica is extremely rich in flora, as evidenced by the fact that about 500 different plant species were found and described there.

The transition road to Rizvanuša separates from the road Gospić – Karlobag in Brušanski gorge, at the tenth kilometer from Gospić, and leads through the village about 3 km to the end of the asphalt road. From the end of the asphalt road in Rizvanuša, it continues on the macadam road and after the source, it turns left towards Visočica (one should turn on the second right fork, which is 200 m behind the first one!). This stretch of road after 16 km is the foot of Visočica (one hour walk to the top). The hiking climb from Rizvanuša follows a dead-end forest road that climbs under the very top of Visočica, shortening some of its curves. Since the pedestrian climb to the end of the road is long, it is best to drive to the turn of the road under Visočica.
